Quorvyn

Accessibility

This page describes what is tested automatically for accessibility on this website and what is not. It is deliberately not a formal accessibility statement under the BFSGV, the German regulation that sets out the accessibility requirements, because such a statement would imply a legal obligation that the current classification does not create.

What is tested automatically

Every published page goes through an automated test with axe-core on every build, once in the light and once in the dark colour scheme. The test checks against WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA, against the target sizes from WCAG 2.2 AA and against additional best practice rules that go beyond the WCAG criteria themselves. It also checks that no page scrolls horizontally at widths between 320 and 1920 pixels and that the skip link can be reached with the keyboard alone.

What this does not replace

Automated testing finds some of the problems, not all of them. A manual audit and a pass with a screen reader have not taken place so far. Quorvyn is a one-person business, and there is no second person who could carry out an independent check.

Legal classification

The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) has applied since 28 June 2025 and transposes the European Accessibility Act into German law. It exempts micro-enterprises that provide services from its requirements, meaning businesses with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of no more than two million euros. As a one-person business, Quorvyn currently assumes that this exemption applies. The automated tests run on every build all the same, because the exemption can fall away as the business grows.
